Applications Open for FY2025 Perkins Collaborative Reserve Grant

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) and the West Virginia Community and Technical College System (CTCS) are excited to announce the opening of the application period for the FY2025 Perkins Collaborative Reserve Grant. This funding opportunity supports innovative partnerships between secondary and postsecondary institutions to enhance Career Technical Education (CTE) and address workforce needs in high-skill, high-wage, and high-demand industries across the state. Applications will be accepted through December 20, 2024.

Priority will be given to proposals that present measurable plans to increase the percentage of high school graduates pursuing postsecondary education, particularly in critical or emerging industries such as healthcare, information technology, and advanced manufacturing. Eligible projects must align with state workforce priorities and focus on initiatives such as boosting dual enrollment, increasing the attainment of industry-recognized credentials, or strengthening career pathways that connect students to meaningful employment opportunities.

For detailed application guidelines, eligibility requirements, and submission instructions, visit the WVDE or CTCS website. Don’t miss this chance to drive innovation and strengthen West Virginia’s workforce through strategic partnerships.
